Robur 2391, or the "Mini 6k" by Jordan the Locksmith

This custom Robur 2391 cutaway, nicknamed the "Mini 6k," exposes the key and side pin interaction of the Robur platform. It was cut away with picking in mind, opening up the internal layout while keeping enough material in place to support real hands-on use.

Feedback is affected by the cutaway but stays close to the normal feel when picking, which makes this a solid piece for study, display, and picking practice. As always with a cutaway, be gentle and keep tension light.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
