Mul-T-Lock Interactive KIK by Jordan the Locksmith
Condition: Brand new
This custom Mul-T-Lock Interactive KIK cutaway exposes the five pin-in-pin stacks the platform is known for, along with the interactive mechanism itself. A spring-loaded element in the bottom of the plug pushes a floating element in the key, which in turn activates the interactive pins in chamber 2. The cutaway gives a clear view of this uncommon system while keeping the lock fully functional for study, display, and hands-on use.
The lock is a great one to fidget with and gently pick. As with any functional cutaway, light tension and controlled use are recommended to keep it operating smoothly.
Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
