This custom Mul-T-Lock Interactive cutaway exposes the pin-in-pin stack the platform is known for, along with the passive key-control side pins used in larger master key systems. The cutaway gives a clear view of the internal mechanics while keeping the lock functional for study, display, and careful hands-on use.

The lock is pickable, though feedback may be slightly affected by the material removed during the cutaway process. As with any functional cutaway, careful tension and controlled use are recommended.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
