Medeco Biaxial KIK cylinder by Jordan the Locksmith
Condition: Used core, brand new pins
This custom Medeco Biaxial KIK cutaway exposes the rotating, elevating key pins and sidebar interaction that define the Medeco Biaxial platform. It is built on a used core fitted with a brand new set of pins, offered as a budget-friendly way into a Medeco cutaway. The core is a little less pristine cosmetically than a new one, but it functions great and still got full attention on the mill.
The lock is well suited for study, display, and picking practice. Includes an extra key and a code card. As with any cutaway lock, careful use and light tension are recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation.
Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
All Chop Shop Customs are non refundable.
