DOM Dimple Lock Cutaway by Jordan the Locksmith

This custom DOM dimple lock cutaway exposes a 10-pin design with staggered chambers and uniquely shaped pins. The layout gives a clear view of the internal pin arrangement while preserving the lock’s function for study, display, and careful hands-on use.

The lock is pickable, with feedback intended to remain close to the feel of the original lock. As with all cutaways, light tension and controlled use are recommended.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
