The Covert Companion is the original flagship from Covert Instruments, the tool that redefined how lock bypass gear could be carried, consolidated, and deployed. It was the first of its kind to hold a full set of lock picking and bypass tools in a compact, pocket-friendly, genuinely discreet form factor.
Over the years it grew through a long line of expansion packs into one of the most well-rounded bypass platforms ever built. Its more advanced sibling, the Covert Companion™ Pro, represents the pinnacle of that evolution.
A classic form factor, completely rebuilt
The new Covert Companion keeps the slim, pocketable design that made the original so popular, with years of real-world feedback built in. The headline upgrade is a new titanium handle: more durable, more rigid, and longer-lasting, with no cost to portability.
Unlike earlier versions, this redesigned Companion ships fully pre-assembled and ready to use out of the box. It also includes the original core tools plus the two most-requested expansions, the Riv Pick and Turning Tools, making it a far more complete package than the original release.
