Assa Twin V-10 in Schlage PL2741 Body by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: New old stock padlock body, used V-10 core in very good shape

This custom ASSA Twin V-10 cutaway is mounted in a new-old-stock Schlage PL2741 padlock body, pairing a used V-10 core in very good shape with a clean padlock housing. The cutaway opens up the Twin V-10 mechanism, exposing the primary pin stack and side locking system for full visual access to what is happening inside.

Material has been removed carefully to keep the feedback as close to a normal V-10 as possible, so this piece is built for endless fidgeting and gentle picking. As with any cutaway, light tension and controlled use are recommended. Includes the original box.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
