This custom ASSA Twin Combi 4800 cutaway is mounted in a Ruko 2 padlock body and features the 3-finger pin snowman design. The cutaway exposes the primary pin stack and sidebar-related mechanics while retaining material in key areas to support careful hands-on use.

This piece was designed with light picking practice in mind, while still serving as a display and study piece. As with all functional cutaways, gentle tension and controlled use are recommended.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
